Goodbye to Dénia Shopping: the city's shops have a new, more friendly image

11 September 2024 - 13: 36

Dénia's commerce is getting a makeover. The brand that brought together the city's various commercial actions and projects, Dénia Shopping, is saying goodbye to make way for a new, more friendly and natural brand, returning to its roots and listening to the street: Comerç de Dénia. Of course, the brand is accompanied by a renewed visual design and a slogan that reminds us of "the more we eat, the more Dénia".

"It goes beyond a change of logo," said the Councilor for Economic Promotion, María José García, at the presentation of the new brand that took place this Wednesday at the Municipal Library. Next to her was Alfred Pavía, director of Sapristi, whose company has received this commission to "return to the origin" visually, taking a "crucial" step, said the councillor, betting on a brand "of relevance for the future of local commerce".

The new face

Pavía has unraveled the process of creating this new image, whose logo, which at first glance looks like a normal shopping bag, hides the acronym of the Comerç de Dénia brand. Based on this style, the derived brands have also been redesigned, such as those of La Nit de la Llum, Festive Stalls, Mercat de Nadal, Dénia Stock or the Bons Comerç.

The main objective was to achieve a more accessible brand, hence the need to rely on a title, Comerç de Dénia, which was already used on the streets. It also motivated the company to do away with generic models for advertisements and campaigns, and to use the residents and merchants themselves to give them back their prominence.

Alfred Pavía says that it took months of effort to "have a brand that will last for many years" and "convey the positivity" that is felt within each establishment.

With this new image, the council is not only looking to increase sales in Dénia, especially in the various special actions, but also to increase the number of visits to the Dénia Commerce platforms and target young consumers to bring them back to our neighbourhoods.

There is no campaign that is worth it if you cannot access it due to lack of parking or public transport.
