Ariadna Mena, a young athlete from Dénia who is only 23 years old, has achieved an unexpected milestone in the recent Pyrénées Cup Femmes Edition 2025, held in San Juan de Luz (France), becoming one of the most outstanding figures of the competition. Mena went to this championship with the aim of enjoying one more experience, since a chronic back injury put her continuity in high performance in doubt. However, her participation exceeded all expectations, achieving an impressive triple of successes.
Despite these circumstances, Mena managed to take first place in her category, demonstrating impeccable technique and great mental strength. She also led the overall ranking of the Spanish team, placing herself as the best athlete in the national team. As icing on the cake, she finished third in the overall team ranking, reaching 95,33 points and contributing significantly to her country's position in the competition.
