The Festival of contemporary circus Circarte returns to Dénia next Saturday, October 16. The show chosen to visit Dénia is "The tip of my nose" by the Kolektivo Konika company. The show will be performed in the Auditorium of the Social Center of Dénia next Saturday, October 16 at 20:00 p.m. Tickets have a cost of € 5 and are on sale through Notikumi.
This is the first production since six female acrobats specializing in hand-to-hand discipline joined in 2018: Candela Casas, Elisa Strabioli, Greta Marí, Mar-i-Cel Borràs, Michela Fiorani and Shakti Olaizola.
To complete the circus day La Marina Social Club, a cultural space that offers regular circus classes in Dénia, organizes two circus workshops for all audiences: Family Circus and Trapeze, Hoop and Fabrics. The workshops will be held at their premises, located in Partida Madrigueras Sur, on Saturday the 16th from 10 a.m. to 13 p.m. Registration can be done through the La Marina Social Club website.
This 2021 the Circarte Festival celebrates its 12th edition from October 12 to 24 in different locations in the Province of Alicante, including Alicante, Dénia, Sant Joan d'Alacant, Mutxamel, El Campello and Beniardá, with more than 20 proposals for the hand of about 70 artists. Among the local entities that collaborate with the Circarte Festival are the Dénia City Council and the Salom Sabar Foundation.
