The Department of Archeology and Museums of the City Council of Dénia offers residents and visitors during the summer a new proposal within the offer of guided tours of the Castle and the city's museums "with the aim of bringing citizens closer to the knowledge of our heritage so rich and so full of nuances, very clear in the different museographic proposals: Museu Arqueològic, Toy Museum i Museu de la Mar", indicated the Councilor for Culture, Raúl García de la Reina. The novelty lies in the fact that the guided tours will take place daily, from Tuesday to Saturday, and that, for the first time, they are also offered in the Valencian language, one more attraction to encourage you to participate. The programming of visits will take place between July 12 and September 15, without any additional cost to the entrance, in the case of the castle.
The guided tour in the Castell de Dénia consists of a diachronic tour that will offer the visitor the opportunity to get to know the fortress over time; from an Iberian settlement to a monument declared a Site of Cultural Interest. The visit includes an approach to the material culture of this extensive period, through the analysis of five pieces from the Archaeological Museum of the City of Dénia. The meeting point for visitors is at the foot of the Consell tower, in front of the ticket sales kiosk. The established schedules from Tuesday to Saturday are:

This proposal connects with the program I visited the Castell de nit which offers, since last July 1, the possibility of walking along the main route, inside the Castle, until 00:00, from Monday to Sunday, and visiting the Archaeological Museum until 22:00.

I visited the Castell de nit
The Visiteu el Castell de nit 2022 campaign began on July 1 and will last until September 15. With this campaign, the Dénia City Council extends the opening hours of the castle from 20:00 p.m. to midnight, from Monday to Sunday. The last turn for visitors to enter is at 23:30 p.m.
Visiteu el Castell de nit offers the possibility of walking along the main itinerary inside the castle until 00:00 and visiting the Archaeological Museum, which will remain open until 22:00. Guided tours in Spanish and Valencian are also offered from Tuesday to Saturday, which do not entail an additional cost to the cost of admission to the monument.
As an exception to the schedules of this summer campaign, on July 21, 22, 23, 28, 29 and 30, the castle will close the doors at 18:00 p.m. and reopen them at 21:00 p.m. assemblies of the Music to the Castle festival organized by the Department of Culture of the Dénia City Council.

It is noted that Mr. García de la Reina has not participated in any of those guided tours of the Castle in which it is always explained in Valencian and in which there is no information in English or French or German or etc... in support of the free visit to the monument. because the largest number of visitors is always foreign.
