May 07 from 2022 - 09: 00

The port of Dénia has a new guest, a luxurious 54-meter sailing yacht that was considered the best in the world. Its about Parsifal III, a name that may not ring a bell here but that many in the US know thanks to a television program with three seasons behind it starring this sailboat.

All the maritime history of Dénia between four walls

Dénia has hosted a large number of boats that take your breath away. However, few have had their own series —the last one was the Polar Star de The Boat of Antenna 3— and none currently on air. But these days, a new floating stage visits us with the Parsifal III.

It is a 54-meter luxury sailboat built in 2005 and owned by businessman Kim Vibe-Petersen. Her beautiful design earned her the consideration of Sailing Yacht of the Year at the 2006 World Superyacht Awards, her interior design also being recognised.

Now, if this boat is known, at least across the pond, it is for starring in the reality show Below Deck Sailing Yacht, from the cable television network Bravo. This program, which premiered in 2020, follows the adventures of the crew during the yacht charter season. In her first season she sailed through the waters of Greece, moving a year later to Croatia. For its third season, currently on air, they have chosen the Spanish coast as the setting.
