V Amunt Conference Against Cancer dest
Next Saturday November 23th, the Maritime station de Baleària The event “Cancer, research and society” will be held in Dénia, a public meeting organised by Amunt against cancer that seeks to bring oncological research closer to the public and encourage dialogue between researchers, health professionals, patients and young people interested in science. The event, which will be held in the L'Androna multi-space room from 08:45 to 14:00, will offer a space to learn about the most recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, as well as the services available to people with cancer.
The main objectives of the meeting are to present current lines of research, share treatment strategies and strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration to improve patient care. In addition, it aims to motivate new generations to get involved in scientific research and raise awareness in society about the importance of supporting research work.
Organised by the Amunt association, the event is presented as an opportunity for the oncology community and the general public to engage in direct dialogue with experts and learn first-hand about the progress made in the fight against cancer, a disease that, thanks to research, is increasingly considered treatable and, in many cases, curable.
