On October 28, the garbage, eco-park and street cleaning service was awarded to the Urbaser merchant in the plenary session of the Dénia City Council. However, two of the companies that participated in the tender filed a special appeal regarding contracting against this agreement before the Central Administrative Tribunal for Contractual Appeals (TACRC).
At the request of the TACRC, the Dénia City Council has sent him the hiring file. In addition to the reports of the secretary and the senior technician of the Environment, responsible for the processing, so that the court can study each case and pronounce itself.
The execution of the contract is therefore suspended until the court resolves these special appeals.
Mayor, Vicent Grimalt, convened last Thursday an extraordinary spokesmen's meeting to explain the reasons for the temporary suspension of the award process, which has to conclude with the signing of the contract.
