As a way of complementing the aid already offered by the Department of Education, Culture, Universities and Employment, the Dénia City Council, through the Department of Social Welfare, has announced the call for school canteen aid for the 2024/2025 academic year.
The deadline for submitting applications will be open 4 of the 15 November 2024, both days included. The application form is available at the Dénia City Council's electronic headquarters, at the Citizens' Assistance Office (OAC), located at Plaza de la Constitución, number 10, and at the Department of Social Welfare, at Plaza del Archiduque Carlos, number 3.
The father, mother or legal guardian of students who meet the following requirements may apply for and benefit from these municipal grants: requirements:
- Be registered in Dénia.
- Be enrolled in public or subsidized educational centers in Dénia, La Xara or Jesús Pobre, in the second cycle of early childhood education, primary education or in the third level of early childhood education of the first cycle in schools owned by the Generalitat.
- Having requested school canteen assistance for the 2023/2024 academic year from the Department of Education and having obtained a score between 6 and 5 points, both inclusive, in the evaluation.
Applications must be submitted exclusively online through the electronic headquarters of the Dénia City Council.
The budget credit allocated for these aids amounts to 20.000 euros and will cover the months between September 2024 and June 2025, both included. The difference between the aid granted and the actual cost of the canteen service must be paid directly to the school by the beneficiaries.
