Tourism is undoubtedly one of the main economic engines of Dénia. For better or worse. And much of it comes from European countries. For some of them, specifically, the capital of the Marina Alta It has become a reference destination, and not only to visit, but to live. The capital of the Marina Alta has managed to sneak into this list of 20 municipalities, among which are in the highest positions destinations such as Sanlúcar de Barrameda (Cádiz), Cadaqués (Girona), Tarifa (Cádiz), Sitges (Barcelona) or Estepona (Malaga). Only two towns in the province of Alacant appear in the ranking: Altea and Dénia.
