D * na Restaurant returns to Dénia in December

Last Monday, November 8, the fourth edition of the D * na Restaurant gastronomic festival was presented, which, this edition, It will be held from December 3 to 6 in Dénia. In these three days, the locals adhering to the initiative will offer a program of menus or elaborations associated with terreta products.

D * na Restaurant will be installed in two different settings in the city center They will host different live cooking sessions by great national and local chefs. In this way, it is intended that the D * na Restaurant becomes a meeting point, celebration and dissemination of the culinary spirit that emanates from the festival.

For this reason, in each of the scenarios there will be culinary demonstrations and showcookings, talks, workshops, musical performances, presentations and tastings of local producers and products. In addition, they will also have their space in D * na Restaurant renowned international chefs who are part of the Unesco Network of Creative Cities of Gastronomy. Dénia also belongs to this network since 2015.

D * na Restaurant

The name of D * na Restaurant pursues the objective of revitalizing the entire agri-food and tourism value chain and building a meeting place between the public and the gastronomic experience. On the other hand, it is also intended contribute to the restoration of a sector so vital for the Marina Alta like the innkeeper.

Vicent Grimalt, Mayor of Dénia, considers that this edition is a new opportunity to continue projecting to the world the importance of the gastronomy of the Marina Alta and the Valencian Community as a sign of identity and engine of progress.

For his part, the regional secretary of Tursimo, Francesc Colomer, has pointed out that it is a success to pay tribute to restaurants and "relocate the coordinates of where things happen, where everything begins". Likewise, he thanked all the agents involved for the effort to materialize a project that reinforces the value of Dénia as a first-rate gastronomic destination.

Quique Dacosta, curator of the event, recalled that D * na Restaurant was born with the vocation of bringing haute cuisine to the streets and generating a dialogue between chefs, producers and citizens. "We want the entire productive fabric of the region to be represented by the same values," Dacosta pointed out.
