23 March 2022 - 13: 51

The four basic qualification training programs (PFCB) of CREAMA-Dénia that began in September 2021 continue to advance their itinerary, which ends on June 17, 2022. At this point in the program, the students are fully oriented to their practices in company, which will take place in the months of May and June.

In order to promote the passage from the classroom to internships in companies, it has been necessary to cover a series of intermediate phases so that the students, who for the most part have not worked before, have prior training to prepare them for the work phase with the who will complete the course. In these training practices they have been acquiring work habits such as punctuality, performance, acceptance of work orders, fatigue management, concentration, the responsibility to make good use of PPE and practice material in general, teamwork, not using the mobile while the practices are carried out, etc.

These actions are carried out outside the classroom, normally in public facilities, thanks to the involvement and participation of the staff of the departments of Parks and Gardens, Sports, Education, Culture and Commerce, in addition to the Pòsit de Dénia and the Real Club Náutico de Dénia .

PFCB "Auxiliary maintenance activities and improvement of forests"

This program takes place in the public garden of Torrecremada, a space where they learn the practice of everything that garden maintenance entails.

In addition, other learning paths have been opened for students such as the maintenance of the cyclo-cross circuit, the castle and the Llebeig public school, where it has participated in the planting and maintenance of the new trees in the schoolyard.

PFCB “Auxiliary ship support activities in port”

During the month of February, they have taken full advantage of the opportunity offered by the Pòsit de Dénia during their biological strike. They have learned to carry out repair, maintenance and improvement tasks, such as dismantling the hydraulic system of pulleys, greasing, stripping the interior of the ship and painting or cleaning the bilges to the fleet of trawlers and longliners. Also ropes and net repair work, counting on the support and involvement of the Pòsit de Dénia staff, boat skippers, mechanics and shipwrights, with its president, Juan Antonio Sepulcre, at the helm.

In addition, the students carry out maintenance tasks on the facilities of the Pòsit itself and also at the Llebeig public school, where they have rehabilitated facades and exterior metal elements.

PFCB "Auxiliary business activities"

During the program, work is done on the importance of supporting local trade, for which explanatory leaflets have been made to support local trade, as well as fair trade.
They will also be in charge of designing the stand that they will have at the Fira d'Orientació Escolar organized by the Dénia City Council for the month of April.

Another activity that they are preparing is the advertising and training campaign of the day on the Valencian pilota that will be held at the end of April in Dénia, making leaflets and posters.

In addition, they are carrying out data collection work to update the census of local businesses in Dénia and are working on action proposals to revitalize the city's commerce, focusing these months on that of the Saladar-Diana area.

PFCB "Auxiliary operations in the organization of activities and operation of sports facilities"

This is the first edition of this specialty, which consists of training concierges of sports facilities; a training that can be extrapolated to any other type of installation.

The students carry out their habituation for the practices in the cyclo-cross circuit; It has been in charge of organizing and inventorying a warehouse of the Municipal Soccer School of Dénia and also several municipal warehouses of the Department of Sports.

As future janitors, they are also having the opportunity to intervene in the Llebeig public school, where they carry out painting and maintenance tasks for the facilities, and they plan to intervene in the Raquel Payá special education public school, where they will be in charge of maintaining the playground (mesh basketball hoops, sports furniture maintenance…) and painting a boccia court.
