The ordinary December plenary session of the Dénia City Council, held yesterday, Thursday, December 28, unanimously approved the construction schedule of the new residence and day center for dependent elderly people in the city.
Following the request made by the Generalitat Valenciana to the Dénia City Council, the Councilor for Territory, María Josep Ripoll, presented in plenary session the schedule of the actions necessary to carry out the construction of the new residence and a Day Center for dependent older people. This action is included within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, of the Covivint Plan. The City Council's technicians have carried out a study of the current state and an estimate of the deadlines for the planning, control, management and execution of the project.
The local Government Board approved, on October 11, the tender for the drafting of the project for the new residence, which will be located on a plot located on Apolo street, close to the urban center of La Pedrera, in Dénia, and will be financed with Next Generation EU Funds. Interested companies can submit their offers until January 15, 2024. The maximum execution period for the study, from the signing of the contract, is five months, whose project will have to be delivered on June 22, 2024. According to the schedule , the drafting of the works specifications will begin in September 2024, which will be followed by the bidding, awarding and formalization. According to planning, the works would begin on January 22, 2025 and finish on May 19, 2026.
