The players of both teams, along with their respective coaches, received from the Sports Councilor a diploma of recognition for the great successes achieved this season. «This double victory not only underlines the sporting success of FB Dénia-F. Baleària but also reinforces the positive impact of inclusive sport in our society. Team triumphs

«The achievements you have achieved are impressive. The inclusive teams of the Municipal Football School and F. Baleària have shown a lot of skill and cohesion on the field, taking home the titles and setting an example in an exciting competition," commented Valen Alcalà.

The "A" team, under the direction of Toni Rodríguez, after having won the second division inclusive league, is promoted to first division. The "B" team, led by Javi Signes, has done the same in the third division and will go up to the second division. Furthermore, the goalkeeper of team "B" has been the one scored the least. The "A" and "B" teams of the Municipal Football School, with the sponsorship of the Baleària Foundation, are the only ones in the province of Alicante that have participated in the competition.

"But these victories," declared the Sports councilor, "not only represent the talent and dedication of you as players, but also the great work and skill of your coaches. In addition to the team's achievements, I would also like to highlight Pascual Mut, as the goalkeeper with the fewest goals scored in the Third Division.

Finally, the mayor and the Sports Councilor congratulated all the players, coaches, families and fans who have contributed to making these triumphs possible. «From here, we will continue to support and help you. On December 3, World Day of People with Disabilities, we will celebrate the league day in Dénia: inclusive sport is not a one-time project. Inclusive sport is here to stay and we will continue working along these lines," Alcalà concluded.
