- El Hospital de Dénia has celebrated this week the farewell ceremony of the Internal Doctors and Nurses who finish their training in the Department of Health of Dénia -DSD- and the welcome of those who join both professional categories
The presentation of the act was chaired by the Managing Director of the DSD, Dr Javier Palau; the Commissioner of the Ministry of Health, Dr Juan Puig; the Director of Assistance, Dr Pedro Clemente; the Director of Care and Services, Natalie Married and the Head of Studies, Dr. Maria del Carmen Estruch.
This edition includes 19 MIR and 4 EIR spaces. Doctors will be trained in Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Internal Medicine, Family and Community Medicine, and Anesthesia and Resuscitation. With regard to nursing positions, the specialties available are Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Family and Community Medicine.
Meanwhile 6 professionals 4 doctors and 2 midwives are finishing their training this year. MIRs have been trained in the specialties of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, Internal Medicine, and Gynecology and Obstetrics.
MIR and EIR training in the Department of Health of Dénia It stands out for the high involvement of the tutors, the teaching methodology -ABP Problem-Based Analysis-, the development of technical and surgical skills in specialties such as Gynecology and Anesthesiology, clinical ultrasound in Primary Care, Internal Medicine and the Critical Area or the practice of the difficult airway in Anesthesia.
