The Local Government Board yesterday approved the bases of the II Local Occupation Plan 2021 to meet the new needs derived from COVID-19 and the transition to the new normal. The Municipal Occupation Plan 2021 foresees the hiring of 14 unemployed people with special difficulties to enter the labor market until December 31. The allocated budget is 225.000 euros.
The people hired will be multiple service assistants in different municipal departments and will perform functions such as cleaning surfaces and facilities, public signage and billboards, attention and information to citizens in public spaces and municipal offices, maintenance of public facilities and others.
Of the total of the 14 places offered by the city council, 3 are reserved for people at risk of exclusion or special social vulnerability, which will be proposed by the Department of Social Services, and 1 will be allocated to people with functional diversity.
The bases are adjusted to equality criteria and establish that the jobs will be covered equally 50% by women and men.
