The PP of Dénia wants to build a bridge with Oliva in Les Marines

May 24 from 2023 - 13: 56

The mayoral candidate for the Party in Dénia, Pepa Font, has met with the candidate for mayor for the Popular Party in Oliva, Germán Salazar, in order to get to know, first-hand, the needs of both regions, La Safor and La Marina Alta, to be connected by the coast.

Pepa Font has assured that "with Carlos Mazón in the Generalitat Valenciana it will be possible to connect both regions along the coast." This fact, "would revalue all the properties that are around and would favor the communication of the two regions", has qualified the popular one.

For his part, Germán Salazar has insisted that this is "a historical claim that the Popular Party must now take up again, since both the north and south of these towns must be connected." Salazar considers that, at present, “the part of the coast of these two municipalities are totally isolated. Reason why an access is needed, yes or yes, through a bridge, to connect Dénia and Oliva ».

In addition to this action, a study will also have to be carried out to review the problems in terms of sewerage, as well as the water evacuation areas to avoid flooding in the area.

A more absurd project cannot be imagined than to build a new bridge there. Everything is perfectly connected by the national road and the camí vell de Dénia (400 meters away). We the neighbors will prosecute until the last instance against the destruction of this natural and idyllic place. With the current coastal protection legislation we are going to win easily. The project would be within a protected zone that prohibits owners from changing the volume of their houses. It is also a flood zone according to the Generalitat. Who is responsible for awakening the absurd idea of the 80s, when the current connections did not exist? With this nonsense, the PP has lost the vote of many residents of Molinell.

  2. Luis says:

What would revalue the area would be for that brown ditch that discharges right on the beach to come down with clean water. It's nauseating.

Totally agree. The river is disgusting and the beach has a color 💩 that makes you want to bathe. For the Oliva City Council, they have completely forgotten that area. In other words, they don't give a damn about the river and the neighbors that we swallow the 💩

  3. Pedro says:

But what a barbarity of proposals. Mrs. Font has not left the sister-in-law policy of the years 96-2008. she lives in the past

  4. NeighborMarines says:

Watch out for Carretera Les Marines, this bridge will multiply traffic and insecurity
First let's organize an entrance to Denia through the Camí de Gandía freeing the Carretera de les Marines (pedestrian promenade, neighbors and services) and then connect both municipalities.
