The port of Dénia hosted last weekend the Spanish Rowing Championship with a record of participation

In the port of the city of Dénia, the Spanish Rowing Championship has been held with the participation of 32 national clubs and 104 registered teams in which, for the first time, the women's teams surpass the men's. The total of participants has been around a thousand athletes. All the participants passed strict health controls with the obligation to present a negative serological test to be able to access the restricted area for all athletes who were duly identified by means of accreditation bracelets.

The day on Saturday dawned with a radiant sun and all the qualifying rounds could be played starting at 8,30 in the morning and ending at 8,30.

On Sunday, as planned, the rain made an appearance and an attempt was made to speed up the semifinals and finals. Finally, time did not give truce and the B finals had to be suspended.

The Men's Absolute team Real Club Nautico Denia he gets 6th place in the general classification and 2nd place in the final B, after having done a lot of work and effort.

In the Female Veteran category, gold went to Torrevieja Rowing Club, silver to Rem Dénia's Club and Bronze to Real Club Náutico de Tarragona.

In Male Veteran the gold went to Real Club de Regatas Alicante, silver to the Badalona Rowing Club and bronze to CD de Mar el Campello.

In the Female Cadet category, gold for Real Club de Regatas de Alicante, silver for Club Náutico Santa Pola and bronze for Real Club Náutico de Gandía.

Male Cadets, gold for RC Mediterraneo de Málaga, silver for Club Náutico Santa Pola and bronze for Real Club Náutico de Torrevieja.

Junior female, gold for Real Club Regatas de Alicante, silver for Real Club Náutico de Gandía and bronze for CD de Mar el Campello.

Junior Men, gold for Real Club Regatas de Alicante, silver for Universitat d'Alacant, and bronze for Torrevieja Rowing Club

In the Absolute Female Category, gold for Real Club Regatas de Alicante, silver for CD de Mar el Campello and bronze for RC Mediterráneo de Málaga.

In the Absolute Male category, gold went to Real Club Regatas de Alicante, silver went to RC Mediterráneo in Málaga, and bronze went to Náutico de Valencia.

The awards ceremony was chaired by Asunción Rosario Loriente Pérez, President of the Rowing Federation, Alejandro Ruiz Lozano, President of the Valencian Community Rowing Federation, Agustín Martí Morant, RCNDénia Rowing Member and Jaime Portolés, President of RCN Dénia.
