Urban planning in Dénia will continue against the ropes after ratifying the Supreme Court the suspension of the NUT

21 June 2022 - 19: 24

New setback for the urban planning of Dénia. If a few days ago the sector could feel optimistic about the news regarding the General Plan, Justice today gives a reality check on the last great failure: the Transitory Urban Regulations. The body has ratified the judgment of the TSJ of last February with which the NUT was suspended.

The NUT was the only urban framework that Dénia had since 2013, while they were working on the final PGE. Some controversial rules that had received half a dozen resources (even from the Dénia City Council itself). The first to arrive at the TSJ, last February, marked the end of these and left the city without the possibility of regulating its growth.

The Generalitat sentences the appeal by not submitting the personification document on time

Now, according to Alicante Plaza, the Supreme Court has declared the sentence final because the Generalitat Valenciana has not submitted a writ of personification for the appeal on time. He had a deadline until June 15, expiring without said letter arriving.

The appeal process has been abandoned, has ended, and the resolution is considered final. Now, each work in Dénia will have more obstacles, requiring more documentation for approval. The landscape integration plan will become vital for those who want to undertake a project of this type.

The PGE, even more urgent

The only option left to avoid succumbing to chaos is to achieve quick approval of the General Structural Plan, which is currently in the public exhibition phase. After the exposition period has expired, they must resolve all the allegations that may exist. In total, since the history of this PGE began, it has suffered 470 allegations, in the last exhibition (last February) there were twenty. Afterwards, it is expected to be approved in plenary session and sent to the Conselleria for final approval. Now, after the declaration of the Supreme Court, urgently.
