The XNUMXth century was a moment of splendor for Dénia that left its mark on the transformation of the town center and on a new agricultural landscape. The raisin monoculture became the lynchpin of the local economy, resulting in an advanced and modern XNUMXth century city.
At Ethnological museum from Dénia we can visit the two sides of the coin: how the bourgeoisie lived between randas and luxury; and how was the production and agricultural life that, between raisins and blanching, allowed social and economic ascent.
Not only the museum content will be affected, but also the continent, since the building, in the city's historic choir, is a magnificent example of the buildings of this bourgeoisie.
