Successful Dénia Consumption Bonus campaign: bonuses sold out in just 6 hours

28 September 2023 - 09: 38

The Dénia City Council's Autumn Consumer Voucher Campaign has reached its availability limit, leaving all vouchers exhausted. The City Council reports that, however, the bonuses that have not been exchanged will expire on 09/10/2023 at 23:59 p.m.

The bonds that have expired will be put into circulation again for a second and final time on 10/10/2023 at 9:00 a.m., allowing their request and exchange until 16/10/2023. This opportunity will be available to those people who have not exhausted the maximum number of bonuses allowed.

It only affects the bonuses for the residents of Dénia, since the Consumer Bonds for La Xara and Jesús Pobre are still available.

It is normal for people to exhaust their bonuses so quickly.
It is known that in these precarious times people need to buy extra virgin olive oil, or other vital items, in addition to bills, rent, going back to school, or taxes from this city council.

Maybe they think that these bonuses are so that the poor don't starve. But not. If I can't even go out to dinner, why do I pay for other people's purchases with my taxes?

All this and the complicity of the people is very striking to me.
