The 'Wine Tourism Manifesto of the Valencian Community' is a document, promoted by Turisme, with which it is intended to promote and value regional wine and gastronomy, starting with the region of the Marina Alta. Specifically from the 'IV Mostra de Vins Singulars i de Poble' in Jesús Pobre, where the Manifesto composed of a decalogue of principles around wine and gastronomy was read for the first time.

Marta Bañó, winemaker and owner of the Les Freses de Jesús Pobre winery, read the document after the institutional visit to the Mostra, in which she was accompanied by the regional secretary of Tourism, Francesc Colomer. During the visit, Colomer highlighted: "From Turisme we have promoted this decalogue in harmony with the people of this territory, who have opened our horizons, our minds and our hearts, in order to understand the construction of this great story."

In line with his words, the Secretary of Tourism showed his desire to locate this space where the Mostra Riu Rau de Jesús Pobre is held, "as a reference, central point and exceptional node of what is the way of being and enjoying life in the Mediterranean Live". In short, "locating in this unique space of Jesús Pobre, the emotional cathedral of wine tourism, where the spirit and soul of the Mediterranean predominate," he added.

For his part, the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, who also attended the Mostra, stressed that "thanks to these projects, territory and landscape are being recovered" and that, in addition, these proposals manage to "add value to our products".

Grimalt also wanted to highlight the importance of rural and wine tourism: "Wine wealth is what brings us closer to culture and the rural world, and offers us an opportunity to get to know the territory, the way of life and the history". In addition, he stressed the three values promoted by the Mostra, "authenticity, sustainability and rural development".

Finally, Mara Bañó has insisted that "the people who love wine are the people we want to come to the Marina Alta".
