Jonatan Penalba closes the Music to the Castell in style

The edition of the Festival Música al Castell, or Music to Torrecremada given the new location, came to an end last Friday with the performance of Jonatan Penalba and his group, which dazzled the Dianense public.

As can be seen from the title of his latest album, Reversals, Penalba brought Dénia a list of well-known songs which he has made his own with updated versions with great success. In this way, the musician brings the younger audience closer to Raymon, Ovidi Montllor, Botifarra, Feliu Ventura, even Obrint Pas and La Gossa Sorda.

But not only that, but through these versions he pays homage to Valencian culture in general, through songs and instruments common in this scene, but also through lyrics by such authors as Vicent Andrés Estellés.

A finishing touch for a festival that has returned this year, although once again far from the stage that gives it its name, the castle from Dénia, but with a location where it would not matter to repeat: the magical gardens of Torrecremada.
