On Saturday, the Library of Dénia hosted the IX Meeting Point of the Official College of Librarians and Documentalists of the Valencian Community, the first of the meetings that the institution has held in person since the beginning of the pandemic.
Around the subject Glocalitats bibliotecàries: think global des d'allò global, the speakers addressed the challenges faced by libraries and their professionals, activism and professionalization of the sector, innovative proposals such as the 'library bus' and how to promote children's libraries.
The meeting was welcomed by Amparo Pons, president of COBDCV; the deputy director general of the Book, Archives and Libraries, Mauro Guillem; and the mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt.
