The race of 168 kilometers on foot, 1.000 by bike and 20 swimming in 4 days with almost no rest to help Raquel Payá

November 03 from 2022 - 13: 34

The CEE Raquel Payá de Dénia needs specific physiotherapy material for the center's students, and to achieve this it has a luxury ally: the ultra-distance athlete Clinton Sumner. It is a more than well-known face in this type of solidarity challenges, since he does not hesitate to continually break his marks to help others.

Sumner has set out to run 168 miles, bike 1.000 and swim 20 in just 96 hours, taking only 20-minute breaks. No one has ever done a triathlon with these distances before, being more than double that of an Ultraman (or more than 4 Ironmans together). The challenge, which they have baptized as Move your feet, will take place between January 2 and 6, leaving from the Postiguet beach in Alacant.

Clandestinos 3.0 will benefit students from the Raquel Payá School of Special Education. Through the challenge, they seek to obtain materials for the rehabilitation of students in need, giving them the opportunity to walk on a treadmill system equipped with a crane that will reduce their weight and allow them to train.
