The city that has been imposed on Dénia as the Best National Gastronomic Destination for the readers of National Geographic

26 2023 April - 13: 51

It has not been. The prestigious National Geographic magazine has revealed which Spanish city has been chosen by its readers as the Best National Gastronomic Destination. Dénia was one of those who chose, which is not surprising in the case of a UNESCO City of Gastronomy. However, the participants have ended up opting for another of the candidacies.

Dénia, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Sigüenza, Tolosa and Burgos. These three municipalities disputed the title of Best National Gastronomic Destination. But only one could be chosen, and this was none other than Burgos.

The Castilian-Leonese city, like the capital of the Marina Alta, is part of UNESCO's Creative Gastronomic Cities, so its choice is more than justified.

    The factories were PERFECT

The normal thing is to change cities, regardless of credibility or listings or contests. Just like it is always good to change municipal corporations. What is not good is to change history as they do where those who lost a war 90 years ago with the strength of the people, now out of revenge and hatred want to win that ancient war in their propaganda. Hateful and dangerous.

You know what happens, that the representatives of "winning" (coup) that war, today it has been revealed that they are and have been a bunch of corrupt gangsters. And if that gang of corrupt gangsters, who without modesty or scruples, have sold to the highest bidder (privatizing) all the goods and public services they have been able to (health, education, sale of officially protected flats that are illegal to sell, to vulture funds ) and in places that have not been able to privatize it 100%, such as the MARINA SALUD hospital, have deteriorated it to the maximum (6 hours for a bandage for a sprain!), to favor, for example, private healthcare, private schools etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc
So friend unknown in a period of "peace", everything that this MAFIA CRIMINAL GANG defends or represents, we do not want it, NO, and if in the past they could not, for example, bury their dead, now that this MAFIA does not "govern", well, they I would like to do it, yes, among other injustices.

It's okay for food. More downstream industries, please.

  4. Paco says:

The blood sausage is to blame, the one from Burgos...

  5. Pedro says:

I don't think people who eat know if it's from UNESCO or not... Burgos is cheaper for normal people with skewers... Other than foreign tourists or national tourists with money for high-class restaurants...

  6. Dani says:

Dénia has to establish itself as an industrial and service city in the north of Alicante.
And more considering that it is a UNESCO creative gastronomic city.
We need a new City Hall.
A coalition formed by Esquerra unida+Podemos.
We have to put an end to the current municipal corporation.
    Dénia deserves better.
