The Dianense company Borrell distributes nuts among those most affected by the pandemic

January 07 from 2021 - 10: 59

The Dianense company José Borrell SA, dedicated to the manufacture of machinery for almonds and dried fruits in general, has become one of the main protagonists of the celebrations of the Christmas in the region, giving away small packages of these traditional foods to those who have suffered the most from the coronavirus pandemic in the local territory.

Throughout the month of December, the Dianense firm has carried out a campaign in the Hospital de Dénia, as well as in schools and the dining room Extend your hand, through which many of its members received a nice gift: a commemorative almond container of this special date, taking advantage of the experience that the company has in the segment.

In this way, the first beneficiaries were the members of the staff and the managers of the Hospital de Dénia, who received representatives of the company, exchanging their impressions about how the work of the enclosure has been in these months of fighting against COVID -19.

In the second instance, those in charge of the said company also traveled to several of the local schools, rewarding the students who have suffered a complex learning process in recent months, with their enough almond ration before lunch.

But probably the most important part of the project has been the approach to the dining room Extend your hand, a soup kitchen attended by people in need, in search of bags to take home and that, with joy, on this occasion the symbolic present was included .
