The watchdog service beaches de Dénia has reported the presence of a large number of jellyfish in one of the coastal areas of the city. So much so that they have been forced, for the first time this year, to raise the flag that warns of it.
Jellyfish have arrived in Dénia, and en masse. Specifically, it is the carnation jellyfish, an old acquaintance of our coast that is not particularly dangerous but its sting is very annoying. More than the usual fried egg and jelly.
The flag has been placed on the post on the beach Punta del Raset, where the jellyfish have washed ashore, caution is recommended to swimmers. However, large groups have been reported along almost the entire coast, but still at a distance from the beach.
