The mask will continue to be present in the Dénia elections: where will it be mandatory?

May 14 from 2023 - 09: 00

It seemed that it was a thing of the past, but a large percentage of voters in Dénia must go to their polling stations next 28M with a mask if they want to cast their vote at the polls. And not only they, but the members of the tables and proxies must have said protection at all times.

The mask returns, or at least during the time of the vote for the May 28 elections. Without it, many residents will not be allowed to cast their vote or access the polling station. But the mandatory nature of the PPE will only affect three schools, because they are located in especially sensitive buildings where the regulations still encourage its use.

The schools affected by the regulations are the Hospital de la Pedrera, the Santa Llúcia Residence Hall and the Joan Fuster Health Centre. This is due to the COVID protocol that affects health centers and nursing homes.

The Dénia City Council has announced that they will have boxes full of masks at the entrance of these schools to provide them to all people who want to access and have not worn one.

I applaud the decision to protect the staff at the election booths. It is not hard to put on a mask for the few moments it takes to vote.

Really Mr@s, it's so hard for them to wear the mask for a "little while", they are places very susceptible to any contagion, A little empathy and thinking about others. In Asia with a simple cold, citizens put on the mask in the subway, street, shops, to protect others and nothing happens. That's not freedom, it's SELFISH! Let's want a little bit please.!!!

Well yes, for those with crooked septum and sinusitis it is a true ordeal. You put on a diving suit that will be fully protected with that.

    • Nakata says:

Put yourself inside a bubble and confine yourself forever. I'm sure you're a sanitary, psychologist or any of those shit.

They are not going to stop it, it is to instill fear and if someone does, they will probably end up in custody that night.

    DO NOT OBEY ILLEGAL ORDERS.

That Dénia town hall is breaching a boe right because now it is not mandatory anywhere in Spain said by the Spanish government

Dissuasive measure so that people do not go to vote? Between the haja quality of political parties and the obligation to wear a mask, I better go disguised as a tourist and rent an AIRBNB, to enjoy "the Mediterranean lifestyle". Let's see if some Guiri explains it to me.
