La Xara hosts its most cultural festivals

20 September 2021 - 10: 05

The Xara has returned to celebrate its parties after hard months of pandemic. Five days in which his commitment to culture stands out to adapt to the current health situation, avoiding large crowds.

Shows with a seated audience have been the great allies of the populations of the Marina Alta during this summer. La Xara, aware of this, has opted to fill its schedule with events of this style, where it is easier to control access, capacity and maintain a safe distance.

The programming this past weekend has been full of music, with successful events such as the musical The Talent or Gisela's concert, and magic and hypnosis shows. Also on Saturday the sporting event of the Fiestas was held in the form of a pilot game, and on Sunday at noon the Dénia Artistic Musical Group took the stage to perform its traditional concert.

There are still two days ahead with several more musical proposals, as well as theaters and monologues. On Tuesday the Festivities will conclude with the pyrotechnic show in honor of Sant Mateu.

In these photos you can see very little public for so much display. How much does it cost the City Council to mount this so that only 30 people see it? We should start to be more realistic and practical.
