- Health professionals from the El Verger Basic Health Zone celebrated World No Tobacco Day today in the town's Plaza del Ayuntamiento and in the Els Poblets Social Center.
During the conference, which took place in both locations, the health professionals reported on the work they do in the consultations of smoking cessation.
In addition, the team made up of doctors Beatriz Lopez y Yerika Meneses, both specialists in Family and Community Medicine -MFYC-, together with the nurses Carmen Bohigues y Susana Torrell They have carried out awareness actions, through posters and information tables, about the false myths around the tobacco and the benefits of quitting the habit.
