The frantic last hours of plantà lived by the falleros and the falleras of Dénia

17 March 2023 - 07: 59

The Night of the Plantà of the Fallas de Dénia has been a night of intense activity in the city, where the eleven fallas commissions have worked tirelessly to finish their monuments before the arrival of the jury.

The atmosphere in the streets was one of expectation and emotion, with residents and visitors admiring the work of the falleros and supporting their respective commissions. From early morning you could perceive the smell of gunpowder, typical of the Fallas, and the sound of the firecrackers that announced the arrival of dawn.

The task of the commissions was daunting, —especially delicate for París-Pedrera, if I may— working tirelessly to finish their monuments before sunrise. The teams moved with speed and precision, making sure every detail was in place and everything was ready for the jury visit. Competition is fierce, with each commission seeking to outdo the others in building its monuments.

With the arrival of dawn, the commissions have finally been able to rest, satisfied with the work carried out and awaiting the verdict of the jury that will take place at 13:00 p.m. for children, and at 20:30 p.m. for adults.
