As every year, the Social Welfare area of the Dénia City Council launches an adapted leisure space with recreational and aquatic activities for people with functional diversity in the summer period in order to bring this group closer to environments as healthy, natural and close as Is the beach.
The 'With our feet in the sand' project, managed by Amadem, an NGO for Mental Health in the Marina Alta, will take place, like every year, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. from July 15 to August 30, at Playa de la Punta del Raset Denia. We work for the integration and adaptation of all people with functional diversity to normalized spaces, which are part of our society, and which can be easily accessed, with help and support.
This project has been launched since its inception, to be able to offer this opportunity and a space to people who have functional diversity, and very importantly, to their families and caregivers, since they are the pillars in the life of any person. person who has special needs. Without this care and continued support, nothing would be possible. Therefore, through movements like this, they offer them a respite on these summer mornings, with the peace of mind that their families will be in charge of professionals and technical people, taking care of every detail, every moment, planning playful and dynamic activities, that is, improving the quality of life of all the people who use the resource.
