The Federació de Moros i Cristians de Dénia (FEMMICC Dénia) and Caixa Popular have joined forces to carry out the promotion and impulse of the photographic exhibition "Mora Cristiana Dona". The agreement will allow the exhibition to become itinerant and be presented in all the branches of the entity in the province of Alicante.
The exhibition will consist of a selection of photographs where there are plenty of qualities about women at the party of the Moors and Christians from Denia. The sample was already exhibited during the month of August 2022, at the Casa Museo Marquesa Valero in Palma.
Now, during the month of April, from the 3rd to the 28th, it will be possible to see it again at the Dianense branch of Caixa Popular located in Glorieta of the Valencian Country during its official office hours. Its inauguration will take place on Monday, April 3, at 19:00 p.m.
The president of the federation, Sonia Pérez, has indicated that "this traveling exhibition is one more way to promote and bring our party closer through the role of women." In the same way, she has recalled "Mora Cristiana Dona" was born thanks to the agreement with the Dénia City Council and, specifically, the Department of Equality, within the plan to promote inclusive parties. In addition, she took the opportunity to "thank Caixa Popular and in particular its director, Manuel Jasin Simarro Hovener, for providing this opportunity to promote and discover our party through festive images."
For his part, the director of Caixa Popular in Dénia has thanked FEMMICC Dénia for the facilities offered to be able to carry out this exhibition at the Dianense city branch, as well as the involvement and collaboration at all times to be able to carry out this project. «Caixa Popular is a rural cooperative credit bank and we will always bet on social development projects like this and. as we usually say, by donating support to the party you will always be in the front row».
After this first exhibition, it is expected that in the coming months it will travel to Ibi, Alcoi, Ontinyent, Villena and El Campello.
