Last Saturday, CFS Mar Dénia received Cerdanyola FC at the Municipal Sports Center, in the match corresponding to Group III of the 2nd Division B.
Without any kind of truce and with strong pressure throughout the field, both teams played a very physical game, where time and again the rival goal was reached with danger. The chances were happening in both goals, but once again it was the rival team who opened the scoring in the 8th minute after a quick counter that meant 0-1.
The Dianense team did not decompose and continued to arrive with danger but without luck in the face of goal, until in the 12th minute, after a throw-in, Toni Tent scored the 1-1 outside shot. With the score level, everything remained the same and both teams tested the goalkeepers over and over again. With two minutes to go before the break, the visiting coach surprised by putting the goalkeeper player on the court, and could not do better since a minute later they achieved the 1-2 with which they reached the break.
The second half began in the same way, with both teams attacking and after three minutes it was Ferran who spliced a strong shot from the wing and scored the 2-2 that put the tie back on the scoreboard.
The swords were still high and the pace of the match was frantic. Mar Dénia crashed two balls into the post, but it was again Cerdanyola who in the 27th minute scored the 2-3 after picking up a rebound inside the area.
The forces began to take their toll after the great physical exhaustion required, but in the 29th minute, after a foul on the edge of the area, Ferran got a direct shot at 3-3. Joy that did not last long because, a minute later, after a quick counterattack, 3-4 arrived and two minutes later 3-5.
Local technical, Javi Arnau, asked for time out and put the goalkeeper player on the court to try to change the dynamics, but this time, with a fierce defense of the Catalan team, he had no reward and in the last minute of the game, after a robbery in midfield, came the 3 -6 definitive to empty door.
Hard defeat for a CFS Mar Dénia to which the multiple casualties in this disparate season begins to take its toll, and more so considering that there are still five days left.
The next day, the Dianense team will travel to Ripollet (Barcelona), where on Saturday 22/05/2021 at 18:00 p.m. they will face the local team.
