Swimming is prohibited on all beaches in Dénia except one

13 September 2024 - 12: 23

This Friday, all the beaches All but one of the beaches in Dénia have raised the red flag due to the strong waves, which has led to a ban on swimming for safety reasons. Extreme caution is recommended in view of the adverse conditions at sea.

The only exception is the beach of the Marineta Cassiana, where the yellow flag remains in place. In this area, bathing is still permitted, although with restrictions and with a warning for bathers to remain alert and follow the instructions of the lifeguard services.

    They are progressive flags.
    Non-progressives don't see them.

How is there a red flag on the beaches if since September 1st in my area (les bovets de els molins) there were neither flags nor lifeguards. What I mean by this is that bathers in September were not supervised. Why?

It doesn't matter if there is no lifeguard. I am almost 60 years old, I am from Denia and I spent my childhood on the beach without lifeguards and the same people drown now as before. If you have common sense, you will hardly drown.
