The Repsol Guide publishes every year several of the best restaurants in Dénia on its pages. Although not everyone achieves the aspired Sol, appearing in the prestigious guide is already a prize in itself.
In 2025, the capital of the country will have seven suns. the Marina Alta, although a total of 14 establishments appear in the guide. These are:
Three Repsol Suns
Quique Dacosta Restaurant
It is the best-known establishment in Dénia, whose kitchen is headed by one of the most award-winning and mediatic chefs in Spain: Quique Dacosta.

Two Repsol Suns
Peix i Brases Restaurant
One of the establishments that has been the most talked about in recent years, since, in addition to having the presumed two Suns, at the end of 2021 it achieved its first Michelin Star.

It is one of the many restaurants located on the port façade, in the Baix la Mar neighborhood. It has one of the best views of the port of Dénia, as well as the beach Punta del Raset, very enjoyable thanks to its upper terrace.

This year's newest addition. It's one of Dénia's great new restaurants, only open a few years, but it has already won over the most discerning and critical palates, as this award demonstrates. dexcaro and its chef, Carlos G. Moreno, have managed to sneak in among the city's greats thanks to their Ossadía menu.

The Baret Miquel
One of the restaurants best known by the residents of Dénia, run by veteran chef Miquel Ruiz. It is difficult to find a list or guide that includes the best restaurants in Dénia and this establishment in the heart of the city does not appear.

Recommended Repsol Guide
Federico House
One of the most emblematic restaurants in Dénia, with 40 years behind it, also appears in the recommended guide, although without its Sol. The guide says of it: «Seafaring breeze and tasty specialties from boat cuisine. “Great terrace and menu of the day.”

the Faralló
El Faralló, one of the most emblematic restaurants in Dénia, stands out for its classic seafood menu and its specialty in red shrimp, always treated with care. The Racó de la Xara
