In plenary session this week it was agreed to declare the works for the construction of the residence and day center for people with disabilities (CEEM and CRIS) in La Pedrera “of special social interest for the municipality” and to grant the Generalitat the bonus in the ICIO of 65% that it requested for the license of major work for the basic project and of execution of these infrastructures.
The land of 10.279 square meters on which the execution of the work is proposed was transferred by the city council to the Generalitat Valenciana in 2009 and are classified in the PGE / NUT as endowment sanitary equipment.
The Center for Rehabilitation and Social Integration (CRIS) for people with chronic mental illness projected in Dénia will be able to attend about 55 people on an outpatient basis. For its part, in the specific Center for people with chronic mental illness (CEEM), which will be located in the same building, between 20 and 40 residential places may be created. In the CEEM, assistance is provided to users according to their needs and includes accommodation and meals, individualized rehabilitation programs, educational and cultural activities and specialized treatment.
This resolution has been unanimously adopted by the Corporation.
