Dénia has obtained this year Blue flag for five of his beaches. The beaches of The Bovetes, Marines, Marineta Cassiana, Molins y Punta del Raset. The Association for Environmental and Consumer Education (ADEAC) has decided this year not to award the award to the beach of Les Deveses for not complying with one of the Blue Flag criteria required by the program: the absence of works.
According to the statement sent by ADEAC to the city council, there is evidence that "during the bathing season, recovery works will be carried out on that beach", for which reason it has been decided not to award the award to Les Deveses in 2023.
In the category of award-winning ports, they receive a blue flag on Real Club Nautico Denia y Marina de Denia.

On Las Marinas beach, specifically from km 0,5 to km 3, the beach is dirty one day after another and it has been like that before, during and after this Holy Week and May Bridge and it continues like this.
