This morning he appeared at Marina Dénia the 6th edition of the 'Sculptures in front of the sea' contest. "There are 14 new artists in this edition, in addition to growing in quantity it has also grown in quality," said Gabriel Martínez, captain-director of Marina Dénia.
The works on display have been selected by a jury made up of Gabriel Martínez, Toni Marí, Joan Castejón, Modesto Marí, Nicolás Merle, Maribel Font and Lida Martínez. The exhibition, installed at the Ribera Dock of the Marina Dénia Sports and Tourist Port, has the support of the Dénia City Council.
In this edition you can see 25 sculptures, until October 14, both from the region and from other parts of Spain. Of the artists participating in this exhibition, 14 have entered this competition for the first time.
Modesto Marí pointed out that "the exhibition is very good, it is to enjoy each of the pieces and thank you for bringing them here." For his part, Nicolás Merle said that “it is a pleasure for this jury to be able to present this event and also every year it gains in quality. This serves, thanks to Marina Dénia, to disseminate an image of Dénia, linked to the creativity, culture and sensitivity that this marina offers.
