The municipality of Dénia adds to mourn the assassination of the president of the Diputación de León

Dénia City Council has decided to suspend all acts scheduled for today in mourning for the murder, yesterday afternoon, the president of the council of Leon, Isabel Carrasco.

Isabel Carrasco was murdered yesterday afternoon while walking to the headquarters of the PP in León. Two women who have already been arrested, mother and daughter, shot him several times to end his life. Investigations by the Interior Ministry point to personal revenge as the motive for the crime. Apparently, one of them had been fired from her job at the Diputación and was in disputes with the institution.
