Miguel Carlos Montesinos wins the eighth edition of the "Ciutat de Dénia" fast painting contest

Yesterday, Sunday, June 12, the VIII Ciutat de Dénia Fast Painting Contest was held, the winner of which received a prize of 1.000 euros in cash. In this edition, a total of 24 people participated in the contest organized by the Dénia City Council and ADAMA.

Miguel Carlos Montesinos was the winner of the first prize. The rest of the awards were given to the following artists:

• 2nd prize, endowed with €500: Juan Gallego Martínez
• 3rd prize, endowed with €300: Nora Gallego Pascual
• 4th prize, for the best Local Artist, endowed with a trip to Formentera for two people: Malcolm Jones
• 5th prize, for the best Regional Artist, endowed with a meal for two people and a voucher of 30 euros in painting material: Anton Gudzykevych

The five award-winning works They will be exhibited at the Dénia House of Culture from June 15 to 30. In this edition, the jury was made up of the artist, painter and sculptor Joan Castejón, the painter Vicent Morales, the councilor for Culture of Dénia, Raúl Garcia de la Reina, and Toni Ortolá, president of the Associació d'Artistes de la Marina High (ADAMA).
