Modesto Marí manages to repair the sculpture «Corazones» despite the pessimistic first impression

Wednesday of this week a vandalism show of love damaged the sculpture «Hearts» with which Dénia remembers those who fight against COVID and the victims of the pandemic. Someone saw fit to show their affection for their lover by making an inscription that seemed to have permanently damaged the piece.

However, Modesto Marí, author of the sculpture, despite having been pessimistic about the possibilities of restoring it from the damage suffered, in less than 24 hours he has managed to return it to its original state so that it continues to remember the fight against the coronavirus.
