The Ciudadanos group in the city of Dénia has announced that they have been forced to postpone the canine meeting scheduled for this Saturday and that it was carried out with the aim of claiming a beach for dogs in the capital of the Marina Alta.
According to Councilwoman Mari Martínez, from the subdelegation they claim not to have been communicated within the established deadlines, something that surprises the councilor because she states that "the measure is exaggerated, since the request has been made as on other occasions and we had never been denied."
Martínez recalls that "we are closing a date well in advance so that there is no excuse or impediment, and that this citizen demand can take to the streets to peacefully request this beach for dogs."
The group's spokesperson does not give up in her efforts to achieve her goal and reaffirms herself: "we will continue fighting so that Dénia has a little piece of beach to coexist with our pets."
