This week, the Department of Education has published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOCV) the authorization to teach Basic Qualification Training Programs (PFCB) the next academic year 2023/2024, at the regional level.
These programs offer young people an opportunity to start an occupation and, at the same time, have the opportunity to return to their studies once they have finished their studies.
For Dénia, the novelty is a new training specialty called: Auxiliary operations of assembly and maintenance of microcomputer systems.
This specialty is only present in Massanassa and Santa Pola, therefore it is a very unique option. In it, students will learn to assemble, repair and expand equipment and components that are part of a microcomputer system, verify the absence of interference between them and ensure their operation, reacting to detected faults and applying corrective procedures.
In addition, there is a renewal of the authorization of the four programs already managed previously, which are:
- Auxiliary trade activities.
- Auxiliary activities of maintenance and conservation of forests.
- Auxiliary support activities on ship in port.
- Auxiliary operations in the organization of activities and operation of sports facilities.
These five training programs are going to mean a training offer of 75 places so that they can be used by young people and thus help them to redefine their future. All the programs include internships in companies.
