The Dénia City Council has approved and published the bases and call for social economic aid to meet expenses related to habitual housing for the year 2023. The bases and call for these aid have been published yesterday, October 24, in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante.
These aid are aimed at residents of Dénia with a low level of income with the aim of collaborating with expenses related to their habitual residence.
This subsidy will have a maximum budget of 12.000 euros in the General Budget of the Dénia City Council for the year 2023. The family financial aid for expenses linked to housing will be €130 for each family unit and only one aid will be granted per home. The deadline for submitting applications is from November 6 to 17, 2023
Requirements to apply for aid
Among the requirements established by the bases, it is established that the person requesting aid must be the owner of the home, as well as be the holder of the IBI receipt. In addition, the person requesting aid must be registered at said address.
Likewise, neither the person applying nor the rest of the members of the family unit may be owners of other real estate of an urban nature throughout the national territory, with the exception of the garage and/or storage room of the habitual residence.
The habitual residence for which aid will be requested can only have a cadastral value of a maximum of 33.400 euros.
The bases refer to other conditions of the applicants, such as income levels or the obligation to be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations and not have outstanding debts with the city council.
How to apply for the grants
The submission of applications and the documentation required in the bases can be done, from November 6 to 17, 2023, electronically through the Electronic Headquarters of the Dénia City Council, or in person at the Citizen Services Office (OAC) located at Plaza de la Constitució, 10, by appointment made through this link.
