The sky of Dénia lights up with the nocturnal mascletà of the Fallas

All the Fallas of Dénia are approaching their end, and as usual, on the eve of the cremà, Plaza Jaume I hosted the nightly mascletà. Hundreds of people gathered around the square to enjoy the only nighttime fireworks event of the city's Josephine festivities.

After lighting the fuse, the smell of gunpowder reigned in the atmosphere, the explosions illuminated the night and the roar of the rockets could be heard from every corner of Dénia. This is how they said goodbye on Monday to give way to Sant Josep, a more solemn day that will culminate with the farewell fire.
