May 28 from 2023 - 12: 38

Today is a very important day for them, because they play to represent the residents of Dénia. They depend on the votes of others, but also on their own. Like the rest, the candidates for these elections have gone to the polls to cast their ballots and have encouraged people to go to their polling stations in the same way.

The day begins without any incident in the Marina Alta, as confirmed by the Electoral Board. The day has started and has developed in total normality.

Rafa Carrió, the candidate of Compromís, has been the early riser that today dispute the mayoralty. Shortly after the opening of the polling stations, he has approached La Pedrera to cast his vote. "Today is a day of responsibility, but it is also a day of democratic celebration," said Carrió.

Shortly after, the popular candidate, Pepa Font, attended the school of Sant Vicent Ferrer, in Les Rotes, to carry out their participation. "It is a day of joy for all that we can exercise our right to choose the most convenient town hall," he said at the exit.

Susana Mut, from Ciudadanos, mario vidal, Gent of Dénia, and Sergi Sales, from Acord Municipal, have agreed on the House of Culture for vote. "It has been a gray day, but we hope that everyone makes the effort to go out and vote," Sales commented. Along the same lines, Vidal encouraged people to vote despite the weather: "After 15 days without stopping, a rainy day has come out but people must be encouraged to go out and vote."

"After the storm the calm will come, they say," declared Susana Mut, and indicated: "We face the next legislature with great enthusiasm." In addition, she has thanked his fellow party members, Estefanía Schwamb and Rafael Bustamante, for the work done during all this time.

Vicent Grimalt, current mayor and candidate again for the PSPV, has voted shortly before noon with his family at the Santa Llúcia residence. "It is a day to celebrate democracy and for people to freely vote what they want," she said.

During the next few hours, the rest of the names that appear on the lists will vote in different electoral colleges in Dénia. It will not be the case of the candidate for mayor of Podem, who exercises his vote in El Verger.
