Quique Dacosta's new proposal for the best restaurant in Dénia

11 2023 April - 11: 52

The chef three Michelin stars Quique Dacosta launches its new proposal that can now be enjoyed at its restaurant in Dénia. With "For the love of art", the chef, awarded the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts and Doctor Honoris Causa in Fine Arts from the Miguel Hernández University, thus evolves his language while maintaining the fundamental pillars of his cuisine: product, territory, harmony, flavor, avant-garde and fantasy. In this way, Dacosta builds a work that, due to its sensitivity and scope, transcends other artistic disciplines.

"My work goes beyond transforming food, far beyond feeding, aesthetics, harmony, technique, flavor or the product, even beyond ourselves," the chef said in his eagerness for making the diner an active participant. In his desire to express himself from the kitchen, he has indicated that he is excited every day to seduce diners: "cooking is my natural language, my trade, my passion and my only way of being in this life", he concluded.

In addition, Quique Dacosta Restaurant proposes a space that pays tribute to Plénitude 2, a unique and inspiring place that invites the diner to live the second life of Dom Perignon in harmony with the chef's cuisine that gives a second life to one of the most icons of his career.

In a truly special season due to the depth that his proposal reaches, Dacosta has invited different personalities close to art to achieve plurality and different perspectives on the concept "For the love of art" that lands this season in his restaurant located in Dénia.

This is the case of Manolo García, musician and singer-songwriter, who affirms that the love of art treasured by different artists "flows directly into love for humanity, for that generous and compassionate something, without which human life would be little more than unbearable" , and that connects us with the essence and authenticity “helping us to rest from those prosaic questions that invade us in our day to day”.

For her part, the illustrator and writer Paula Bonet points to "those few people who put their art at the service of the rest of the world without forgetting who they are and without pretending to be complacent", but who in turn "please us, enlighten us, they help us to think and be better. Some even feed us », she reflected, alluding to Dacosta.

In short, the new season promises to be a faithful reflection of the moment in which the chef is living, who has positioned his restaurant three Michelin stars in the most important lists in the world such as The World's 50 Best Restaurants and Opinionated About Dinning, which places it in the last years as one of the ten best in Europe, having occupied the number one ranking for two consecutive seasons.

How fantastic it would be to be able to give an informed opinion. I am determined to save enough to be able to enjoy it, I am not going to miss out on this option, which is undoubtedly worth including in life.
As soon as I can, I'm going to taste the menu “for the love of art”.

    Good Morning.
I have not been nor do I know Quique Dacosta's restaurant. I'm missing it.
If I have to say that good fame precedes it. Sympathetically I mean that the phrase is normally used with joy when saying "for the love of art", as something free something that is given away. and here, in the written article, it seems that a philosophical book is being offered for sale, as one more culinary ornament, which has had such an impact lately on designer kitchens.
Maybe I'm wrong. excuse me in that case.
    Greetings.

The best restaurant in Denia??? Because ??? Why does it have three Michelin stars??? Go with Denia.com on what criteria is it based on stating that it is the best restaurant in Denia? In pure quality/price ratio it is NOT the best restaurant in Denia. A lot of Marketing, and it sells smoke to its victim diners.

    • Omniway says:

No restaurant in Denia is comparable to this one. Sometimes we think about what we do not understand. I don't want to say that you don't have the right to an opinion, but it's clear that you don't know what you're talking about.
Going to that restaurant is comparable to taking a trip to an unknown place. It is not about going to eat, period. To understand it, you have to be open to live new experiences. If what you like is paella or traditional food, it is not your place. Although the flavors are.
The value for money is difficult to assess. There are dishes that take many hours and even days to prepare. You can't judge like that because if

It is noticeable that if you know what you are talking about, surely you eat a lot there or work to be so clear about what we cannot like or value.

We cannot allocate our entire economy to gastronomy.
We have to exploit our natural resources and invest more in renewables.
Tourism (although of poor quality) is a support for the nation's economy, but not a livelihood.
We must further industrialize our cities, build more open spaces for all, and reinvent agriculture.
    Create urban gardens.
From the United Front we are going to defend a socialist state.
    The Spanish Socialist Federative Republic.

  6. Luis says:

If there are people willing and prepared to pay the money they ask for, they would have to raise prices even more. They deserve it.

    • Omniway says:

      Totally agree.
Quique makes a great effort to contain prices because they haven't gone up for years now.
Although most of his clientele can and would pay that and more.
I think it's a very good price for what you get there. It is clearly not available to everyone, like so many things.

      • Juan Ramon Peris says:

I would love to go and feel in a different universe but, at the moment I can't, but although I am retired, at some point I will make an effort

      • dil says:

Well, I agree that it is not available to everyone…. But that effort not to climb, no one believes it.
