The candles are lit again in Dénia in the most crowded Nit de la Llum

10 December 2023 - 10: 20

During Saturday night, Dénia hosted the expected Nit de la Llum which, like every year, attracts thousands of residents and visitors to enjoy one of the most popular days in the city. Christmas from the city. This time coinciding with the December long weekend, which was noted by the large crowds in many parts of the center.

The streets of the city were transformed into a light show, thanks to thousands of candles that illuminated the path and contributed to creating a unique Christmas atmosphere. Although some could not withstand the wind, there were still many that remained lit in some corners of the city. The Municipal Market, which extended its hours until 23:00 p.m., joined the celebration with a special decoration that added charm to the event.

In addition, various shows were displayed to liven up the streets of the urban area. Music, dancers and carol choirs filled the atmosphere with Christmas spirit. Perhaps the most unfortunate of this animation was the incomprehensible exhibition of tuning cars that they decided to put outside the Municipal Market, although it had little to do with the aforementioned Christmas atmosphere. And not only did they expose themselves, but they constantly accelerated with their thunderous engines and backfiring exhaust pipes, causing families with small children to flee from what should have been the heart of the celebration like every year: the Mercat Municipal.

Shops in the city center also joined the celebration, keeping their doors open until 21:30 p.m. and offering special discounts to encourage Christmas shopping.

This Justo, as the name says, is quite fair, for friends, Justito hahahahahaha

What a way to act like a cousin talking about things that are neither true nor do you seem to understand much.

It's a shame that people like this have the opportunity for other people to read their articles.

  2. Sergi says:

It is appreciated that there is someone like Mr. Justo who will surely be a pro-activist against polluting cars, but to exercise his activism and go against what he has no idea, it would be better for him to go to a farmhouse alone in the middle of the nothing. Denia is a beautiful town, whether at Christmas lit with candles or in summer with its magnificent streets and coast full of life. But we cannot forget that Denia is a town with a tradition in the world of motors, and whether with cars or motorcycles, that will always be an incentive and a benefit for the town with any event that is organized and attracts motor lovers, because That is money that stays in the town and advertising that makes it better known throughout Spain. What does no good for anyone is the tirade that Mr. Justo has written, which makes us imagine children and parents running as if a zombie attack were coming and confusing the world of tuning with that of American cars.

  3. Nacho says:

The one that fell to the person who wrote this article... Here we have the great problem of Spain, the great manipulation and farce that exists in the newspapers and the media, simply people like the one who wrote this text should be picking potatoes and olives… We are tired of lies and hoaxes…. If you don't know what you're talking about (and you're dedicated to it) you better shut up...bitter...

Mr. Fair, the enlightened columnist, but in this case not because of the night of light, the only thing he gives me to understand is that he writes a column of information that, first of all, is false information and secondly, he has no idea what he is talking about, like The colleagues say it was a spectacular afternoon and all the people were delighted to see the mustangs on display, which people even said they were going to start them off and they looked very excited and the children were very happy and nothing of what is mentioned in the column, In no case did anyone get scared or run away, on the contrary, if it were up to me, someone who writes something at will and even more so because they write without being true should leave that job because all they do is misinform and give false news. That is not a newspaper at all serious, it is just saying whatever you feel like without further ado, Mr. columnist, again I tell you Denia is a city that loves the world of motors and little by little they have taken over it, but Denia continues Being a motor lover and the opposite of Mr. Justo, what needs to be done is to promote these events more and not throw shit where it does not exist, for my part that man should be given a lesson and if he does not know what he is talking about People like that should not give news and should say what the man wants that is not true, and Denia. As there are journalists who, firstly, do not know how to differentiate tuning from American cars and secondly, they can give false news and nothing happens, well in short it was a spectacular day and 99% of the people liked it a lot and we hope to repeat it again and show off the American cars in Denia as a hug is being done and see you soon

  5. Victor Manuel Hernandez says:

    Mr. J Justo Moncho:
Just because you don't like cars, which seeing how you refer to an iconic American model like the FORD MUSTANG, comparing it to tuning cars demonstrates this, doesn't mean that no one likes it. In fact, I saw more children and not so children excited about seeing these cars than seeing the Christmas decorations.
Regarding families with their children running around as if it were a Jurassic Park movie, I don't know where you saw that.
I believe in my opinion that the Denia municipal market offered an activity different from what is usually done in other places, on this occasion carrying an exhibition of FORD MUSTANG. You may like it or not, but from there to the amount of slander you have poured out about said event there is a big difference.
If the rest of the articles you write have the same credibility as this one, I think you should change jobs, as long as it has nothing to do with the engine since it has been proven that it is not good for that either.

  6. Yann says:

Mr. "journalist", it is better to talk about what you understand... if for you a Ford Mustang is a tuning car as you say in your article, it is better not to mention the subject because one clearly sees that you do not understand cars and two it looks ridiculous.

Apart from that, the magic of Christmas is sharing and filling the little ones with excitement….they open their eyes wide in front of these vehicles that are not seen every day on the streets and I think that a 5-year-old child has more hopes ahead. of a mustang than of a nativity scene…. Greetings

  7. Iris says:

The person who writes this essay has no idea about cars, what a way to throw down an entire exhibition of beautiful American vehicles that are not seen every day and that is what attracts the most attention to children, that of running away in terror... you have won an oscar

    • Pablo Perez says:

Mr. columnist, you are an expert in slandering and lying, thanks to you I will continue taking my car to places, paying for the gasoline and leaving money in your town so that people can take photos and continue collaborating for profit this time around. Christmas other times by the Denia cancer association, don't worry, we will continue to be good people and collaborate with all the town councils and associations that want it.

  8. conchin says:

Two years ago I loved it, this year it seemed like a mistake to put the kiosks in front of the stairs next to the tunnel, since all the beauty and lighting covered it and also fewer candles, with the bad luck that the wind ruined it. the atmosphere after dark and there were many turned off.

  9. Felipe says:

Oh really. The only thing different this year was the cars. Otherwise the same as other years. Oh and parking the car is a pain.

    • Sergi says:

The only thing different has been the cars and the character who wrote the article has gotten involved with them. For next year, make a nativity scene in your house and don't leave there.

  10. Renate says:

  12. Cat says:

Dear Denia.com Columnist! Javier Justo Moncho, first of all, thank you for giving us publicity (negative in this case).

We have discovered that you have no idea about “cars” by calling American cars “tuning”.
They are two completely different worlds!

The Christmas spirit is not only carols, candles or choirs in the streets, it is also seeing a child with tremendous emotion, his smile and telling his father: “alaaa dad, look how cool.” Yes, that's Christmas spirit too.

The “Costa Blanca Mustang Owners” club has accepted the invitation to participate in this beautiful exhibition and I think it has been a complete success.

I'm sorry you see our participation as something negative but hey, there's always a Christmas Grinch 😏.

Greetings, Costa Blanca Mustang Owners 🇺🇸

  13. Tano says:

As soon as the g nye wanted us to tear them off to be heard

  14. Tano says:

We were invited by the municipal market to replace the cars and they took photos with the cars and were delighted
That will be your opinion, which apparently you don't like and without large displacement American cars.
There are always tastes like colors
