The Ministry of Finance has approved the Adjustment Plan submitted by Dénia through which the City Council may pay 4.799 invoices from 697 suppliers for an amount of 13.281.756,20 euros.
The next step is for the consistory to hold an extraordinary plenary session before May's 15 so that the mayor ana Kringe acquire the power to sign the policies. If the process follows the expected timing, suppliers can collect their outstanding invoices in June.
After adopting this Adjustment Plan, Dénia will liquidate the outstanding invoices of 2011 and some outstanding 2010, in addition to updating the delinquency law. Now a period of 10 years is open to return the money to the Ministry.
